Thailand ended its 60-day visa-free scheme on 15 September 2026. Russian passport holders now get up to 30 days visa-free under a bilateral agreement; if you entered before that date, you can stay until the date in your stamp. Tourist visa rules did not change.
Up to 30 days, one trip
Russian passport holders get up to 30 days visa-free under a bilateral agreement since 15 September 2026. In our experience as of September 2026, Thai immigration extends the stamp by 30 days for 1,900 THB, but there is no official rule for Russians and the officer decides.
Up to 90 days
Single entry, up to 60 days in the country plus a 30-day extension. The consular fee is about 1,000 THB; the visa is valid for 3 months from issue.
Several trips in six months
Valid for 6 months with unlimited entries of up to 60 days each. The fee is about 5,000 THB and the proof of funds and travel history is stricter.
